CHRISTmas Gift: Chocolate Roses

A personal touch is always appreciated!

So I decided to make little gifts for all my friends
at our annual CHRISTmas party.
It ended up being a lot more work than I anticipated,
but it was also the most fun I had working on gifts for friends.
Went with blue & silver color theme since I knew
our hostess's tree was decorated in those colors.

labeled each vase with each person's name,
and added a pocket calendar with personalized mini ornaments.

Thinking of You: Hope

A personal touch is always appreciated!

I felt that a flower represents life, hope, and enlightenment,
which would be perfect for this card.
My dear friend lost her brother to an accident 3 years ago,
and I wanted to find a way to be of some condolence,
especially since he was dear to my heart as well.

Baby Shower Card: Bunny Hop

A personal touch is always appreciated!

Being so far away, I could not be at baby Kim's shower,
but made sure that they knew that I was very much excited for them.
They are going to have a little baby girl this year which is the year of the rabbit,
which explains why a bunny was used to make this card.
This little bunny character was on a gift I got for my nephew.
I thought it was so cute, so I replicated it and dressed her in pink.

Birthday Card: Have a Drillin' Day!

A personal touch is always appreciated!

For some strange reason, I have a lot of dentist friends,
and this one was made for the newest dentist in the bunch, Jason.
This fabric reminded me of the color of a mask,
so I started from there and built it into a card.

Birthday Card: Aunties Can Be Fashionable

A personal touch is always appreciated!

I probably get my sense of fashion from my auntie.
She was practically with me and my sister everyday while we were growing up,
and I remember she was always very sharply dressed and well-accessorized.
She still is a very fashionable lady, who likes the simple and clean look.
This card is made with a little caricature I drew of her.

Thinking of You: Granny's Quilt

A personal touch is always appreciated!

My friend Wendy's dear grandmother recently passed,
and because I knew how close they were and how much her granny meant to her,
I wanted to express my sympathy in a personalized manner.
I immediately thought of a quilt, which takes us back to our childhood,
brings us comfort, warmth and security, much like grandmothers do.

Valentine's Day: But The Greatest of These is ... Love

A personal touch is always appreciated!

Another bargain makes a happy day for me!
I will call these chipboard cards or naked cards. ^^
50 cards & envelopes for $6.99 at Hobby Lobby!
Oh, and I used a 40% off coupon, so paid just $4.20.
Since I had to make multiples of this card (to be sent to a lot my good friends),
I had to make sure it would be easy.
And what says love more than the heart shape?

New Arrival: Welcoming Baby Dylan

A personal touch is always appreciated!

One of the cutest card creations can also be the easiest,
with just a couple of the crazy eyes and leftover ribbons.
Drew a little baby's head sucking on a pacifier, added the eyes,
gave him a little baby bowtie, and there's the card!

Birthday Card: Lil' Birdie Told Me ...

A personal touch is always appreciated!

One of the cutest card creations can also be the easiest,
with just a couple of the crazy eyes and leftover ribbons.
Not sure if 'crazy eyes' is what they are actually called,
but that's what I like to call them since the eyeballs tend to roll around everywhere.
On this card, I decided to go with a little birdie wearing a giant red bow.

My colorful cardstock and envelope came in handy again!
50 cards and 50 envelopes for $9.99 at target!
That's 20 cents per set!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

New Arrival: Welcoming Baby Carson

A personal touch is always appreciated!

The new arrival of baby Lim inspired me to make this card.
Well, I actually designed this one for his big bro when he was born a year and a half ago,
but didn't actually go into making it into a card.
I know, such a lame auntie I am!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

congratz!
on adding a new LIM to your family tree!
get it? can't take credit for that line though,
I may have seen that somewhere, can't remember where

YOO original is yet again a baby sucking on a pacifier.

there goes lame auntie again, emphasizing carson is a tiger just like his auntie.
